2014 has been a brilliant year for indie.  Many new acts emerged, while many of our favorite acts continued blazing the trail.  Every notable jam that passed our ears, we've promptly passed on to you.  Now that the year is coming to an end, we leave you with this: Our Top 14 Jams of 2014.

VÉRITÉ, the indie darling of the internet, recently released a remix rendition of her EP, Echo.  The Remixes feature a host of killer artists, from Carousel to Penguin Prison.  Our favorite has to be Lightwaves' take on "Heartbeat".  Overall the 5 tracks are a brilliant medley of chillwave/synthpop that are sure to make your Monday.

What else can I say? These bros are 2 for 2.

I'm expecting big things from them in 2015, and so should you.

Yellow Ostrich will be playing their final show tonight, and what better setting than Glasslands in its final month.  The band's sound engineer, Kieth Sweaty, released a remix of "How Do You Do It" today.  A brilliant take on an already brilliant song.  Enjoy.

The L.A. duo, HOLYCHILD, premiered their long awaited new jam "Running Behind" today.  A great follow up to their debut EP, Mindspeak.  An explicit sound, with an a pop undertone.  You'll be sure to dig it.

Smallpools premiered their new single "Karaoke" today.  The song hits just right, with the catchy indie pop sound that made us fall for them in the first place.  Expect this jam to climb the Hype Machine and Alt Nation charts by the end of the week.

TeamMate crank out another winner with this latest premier.

One of our favorite 2014 bands takes on All We Are's, "I Wear You".  While this is a more low tempo sound for Years & Years, god damn it hits the spot.

First up, the beauts from Years & Years drop their newest melodic jam "Memo".



MOTHXR follow suit with the electrifyingly sex tune, "Stranger".

Another new song from CHVRCHES.  This one is coming off of the Mockingjay soundtrack.

Los Angeles's Carousel remixed the already brilliant jam "Out Of Mind" by Magic Man.  Take a listen.

The Chicago Trio, Autograf, just premiered their remix of The Griswolds' Alt Nation chart topping single: "Beware the Dog".  And, yes it's brilliant.

First up the Aussie duo, Sun City, drops their brilliant long awaited jam, "Paralyse".


Next up, Dzeko & Torres continue their remixing spree with their take on Little Daylight's "My Life".

THUMPERS team up with The Shoe's Jena Malone for their first single from the upcoming EP Together.

Evvy is playing an unlisted show @ Spike Hill.  This chick is bad ass.  She's like a talented Lana Del Rey. A set time has yet to be announced so I'll keep you posted.

1:30 - 1WayTKT @ The Bitter End.  These guys are legit.  Real pump up jams.

Zane Lowe, from BBC Radio 1, is rescoring the Drive soundtrack with the help of some of our favorite artists: CHVRCHES, The 1975, Bastille, Neighbourhood, BANKS, Bring Me The Horizon, Eric Prydz, Foals, Jon Hopkins, Laura Mvula, SBTRKT, ZCC, and Baauer.  The CHVRCHES's offering, "Get Away", just premiered.

The electropop quartet, HAAERTS releases another single off their upcoming debut self titled album.  Eskimo Jams favorite, St. Lucia, co-produced this undeniable hit.

Magic Man just released a sneak peak to their debut album with the teaser debut of "It All Starts Here".  It's a mix of the synth-pop we've grown to love from them, with a noticable influence from The Killers.  Personally, I'm phsyced for this album. 

Lightwaves knocks another remix out of the park with their take on Great Good Fine's "Not Going Home".

I have HUGE expectations for these bros.

What a day to be alive.  It's not enough that DWNTWN premiered their new single today.  Now Lincoln mother fucking Jesser drops this magic.  And, I'm going to watch Ghost Beach kill it at Webster Hall tonight.  Awwww Yeah.

As a band's experience and talent grows, so should their music.  DWNTWN has been emobdying that ideal with their upcoming album.  First we had the angelic single "Til Tomorrow", and now they premiere this beauty.  I hope this puts you in as happy of a mood as it does me.

Ah, Sky Ferreira.  She knocks it out the park in both the vocal and looks department.  Some poor sap was not the one, but this jam certainly is.  Add a Little Daylight to the mix, and you have yourself a hit.  Enjoy. 

So, I listened to this song multiple times, and made an executive decision....that I did NOT like it. However, hours later, I found myself singing the chorus over & over. I just couldn't get it outta my head.

I'm kinda feelin this new musical direction that Coldplay is goin in....

DWNTWN premiered their new single "Til Tomorrow" minutes ago.   Unlike their earlier work this song feature more live instruments, and less synth.  Though it still carries that electropop feel we've grown to love.

New York, along with the rest of the North East is about to get hit with yet another snow storm.  Time to stock up on some good beer, whisky, and music.  As for the latter, we're here to oblige.  Little Daylight, the Brooklyn synthpop trio, just launched their first single from their upcoming album Hello Memory.  Enjoy.

EcoPark launched their EP Savior last week.  The title track is just glorious.  This song is destined to explode, and we're about to light the ignition.

These guys are freakin in.cred.i.ble. Every new single from them is the better than the previous one. The sky is the limit for this band from Bristol, UK.

I just can't get enough....and either will you.

I'm going to add Parade of Lights to the list of bands to watch in 2014. Their stuff is catchy, and will get any hipster party going. So grab a PBR, and enjoy!
